In September 2024, I had the pleasure of photographing Emily & Harvey’s stunning summer wedding at Gaynes Park, and it was truly magical from start to finish.
A Perfect September Wedding at Gaynes Park
Emily & Harvey’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration of love, laughter, and golden summer light. September is an incredible time to get married at Gaynes Park—the late-summer sun casts a dreamy glow over the venue, and the surrounding gardens are still in full bloom, providing a stunning backdrop for wedding photography.
The morning began in the charming Apple Loft Cottage, where Emily and her bridal party got ready. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as she slipped into her elegant dress, ready for the big day ahead. Meanwhile, Harvey and his groomsmen shared laughs and final preparations before making their way to the Orangery for the ceremony.
An Emotional Ceremony In The Orangery
One of the most enchanting features of Gaynes Park is its stunning Orangery, where Emily & Harvey exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones. The soft, natural light filtering through the glass created the most dreamy and romantic setting for their ceremony.
Capturing their first look as Emily walked down the Long Walk towards the aisle was an unforgettable moment. The emotion on Harvey’s face said it all—pure love and joy. The couple’s ceremony was heartfelt and personal, filled with laughter, happy tears, and the warmth of their closest family and friends. Emily & Harvey’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration of love, laughter, and golden summer light.
Golden Hour Magic & A Stunning Reception
As the day unfolded, we made the most of Gaynes Park’s stunning grounds for portraits. The soft, diffused light created a beautifully romantic atmosphere as Emily & Harvey enjoyed a quiet moment together.
Their reception in the Mill Barn was a beautiful mix of rustic charm and elegance. Fairy lights twinkled above, and the round tables were adorned with delicate floral arrangements. The speeches were both heartfelt and hilarious, with plenty of laughter and a few happy tears shared amongst the guests.
Dancing Under the Stars
As the evening rolled in, Emily & Harvey shared their first dance beneath the twinkling lights of Gaynes Park’s barn. The dancefloor soon filled with guests celebrating in style, making for some incredible candid moments. With a warm September breeze in the air, the celebrations carried on late into the night, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
