For couples who want real moments, with just the right amount of guidance

Because feeling relaxed and looking your best can absolutely go hand in hand

My wedding photography isn’t about just letting you figure it all out for yourself.
Most couples want their wedding to feel relaxed and natural—not like a day-long photoshoot. I completely agree. My approach is all about letting moments unfold, while offering just enough direction to help you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands—I’ll gently guide you when needed, and step back when the moment speaks for itself.

Space to just be—no pressure, no forced moments

A calm, friendly presence behind the camera

Subtle prompts to help you feel relaxed and connected

Not overly posed. Not overly documentary. Just perfectly you.

The most natural photos often come from a little help at the right moment—just enough to help you feel relaxed and connected, without ever feeling staged.

No two couples are the same—and your photos shouldn’t be either. That’s why I approach each wedding with fresh eyes and an open mind. I’ll take time to get to know what matters most to you, so that every photo feels personal, not posed, and every moment feels like it truly belongs to your story.

Throughout the day, I’m there for the real, unfiltered bits—the spontaneous laughter, the quiet in-betweens, the way you light up when you look at each other. And when the time is right, I’ll gently guide you into a little pocket of calm—just the two of you, away from the noise—for some beautifully natural portraits. It’s never about stiff posing; it’s about creating space for connection and slowing down together.

I’ll read the room, offer soft direction when it’s helpful, and let things breathe when they need to. So your photos won’t just show what your day looked like—they’ll reflect how it felt, in a way that’s completely and unmistakably you.
Here’s what happens next, and how the whole process works—step by step.

01.

get in touch & say hello

It all starts with a relaxed conversation

Whether you’ve got a date locked in or you’re still figuring things out, the first step is simple—just reach out. Send over a few details about your day, and I’ll get back to you with everything you need to know. No pressure, no pushy sales talk—just a relaxed chat to see if we’re the right fit.
You don’t need to have all the answers yet—this is just the start, and I’m here to help guide you through it.

Typically, I normally respond with-in a couple of hours, however during busy wedding season, this may be up to 24hrs, but rest assured, I’ll be in touch as soon as I can.

02.

Your day, safely in the diary

Lock in your date and relax

Once you’ve had a chance to look through everything and it feels right, we’ll get your date secured with a simple online booking form and a deposit. No mountains of paperwork—just a straightforward process that takes care of the formal bits so you can get back to the fun stuff.
From here, I’m all yours—and I’ll be just a message away for anything you need.

03.

Quietly in the background (until it’s time to zoom in)

Behind the scenes, but just a message away

Once you’re all booked in, things will go a little quiet on my end—but I’m still here whenever you need me. I won’t be filling your inbox during the planning process, but if you ever have a question (even if it’s not photo-related), I’m only a message away.

Need advice on timelines, content creators, or how long to allow for confetti photos? I’ve got you. I work closely with some brilliant videographers and trusted suppliers, and I’m always happy to point you in the right direction if you’re feeling a bit stuck.

About four weeks before your wedding, I’ll send over a short questionnaire to gather the important details—like group shots, key timings, and anything personal you want me to be aware of. Then, a couple of weeks before the big day, we’ll jump on a Zoom call to chat it all through—from the logistics to the fun stuff.

It’s relaxed, personal, and designed to help you feel totally at ease heading into the day.

04.

Shaping the flow of your day

From timings to tiny details—we’ll cover it all

As your wedding gets closer, we’ll jump on a Zoom call to walk through the finer details of your day. This is our chance to talk through timings, lighting, locations—and to make sure we’re on the same page with all the moments that matter most to you.

We’ll chat about everything from confetti plans to your formal group photos, and any sensitive or important things you’d like me to be aware of. This helps me move quietly and respectfully through the day, so you can stay fully present without worrying about a thing.

When it comes to group photos, I’ll always work around your priorities. I usually suggest keeping these to around 10 combinations, just to make sure you’ve still got time for those slower, more relaxed moments together before dinner is served. Each group shot takes about 3–5 minutes to gather and photograph, and that time can add up quickly—but if you’d like more, that’s absolutely fine too. It’s your day, and I’m here to support whatever feels right for you.

I’ll also ask if there’s someone in your wedding party who can help round people up for the group shots—it’s a small thing that makes a big difference to how smoothly everything runs.
This call is one of my favourite parts—it’s where your day starts to really take shape, and where I can make sure the space is there for the photographs that feel most like you.

05.

The story unfolds—and I’ll be right there with you

A celebration that feels like you—real, joyful, and full of heart.

The day is finally here—and it’s going to fly by in the most wonderful blur of hugs, laughter, and happy chaos. I’ll be right there in the mix, quietly capturing it all as it unfolds.

I usually suggest two or three short couple shoots, each just 15–20 minutes long, gently slotted into quiet moments that won’t take you away from the heart of the celebration.

From the excitement of morning preparation, to the crazy drink induced evening dancing & everything in-between, we’ll create moments that’ll keep you looking time and time again!

If you’re up for something a bit more creative later on, I can also offer a few flash-lit shots to bring a bit of evening drama into the mix. These are always optional, and always relaxed—it’s your time, your energy, and your call.

you’ve Got Questions—I’ve Got You

I typically start approx. 2/3 hours before the ceremony to cover morning preparation & finish either at the first dance, or up to 2 hrs after depending on your package you have chosen. For smaller wedding coverage packages it depends on your requirements.

Booking is super simple. Everything about booking is covered in the wedding photography journey.

From the initial enquiry, to the booking itself it is a seamless experience. Get in touch and lets check my availability.

Definitely! I love catching up with couples ahead of the day, over a zoom call. It’s a chance to chat through your plans, timeline, and any questions you have.

Before the wedding we’ll normally have an onboarding zoom chat, and then approx. 2-4 weeks out, we’ll jump on your pre-wedding zoom chat and discuss all of the exciting wedding plans.

You’re in good company—most couples say that! I offer relaxed direction when needed, focusing on natural connection and simple prompts to help you feel at ease and look your best without forced poses.

You’ll receive sneak peeks within 72 hours, so you’ve got something to relive straight away. Your full gallery will be ready within 6 weeks, often sooner depending on the time of year.

As soon as your images are ready for you, they’ll be uploaded to a secure & private gallery. You can download all of your images from there as many times as you’d like for up to a year. You and your guests will also be able to purchase professional prints & wall art with a 30% welcome discount too. For my main packages you can expect to have lifetime access to your images at no extra cost. For smaller wedding coverage, your gallery is open for one year from delivery of your final images.

For me, your images are the reason you book me. You want a wedding photographer who will create stunning memories & preserve them. With that in mind I give all my couples who book any package lifetime access to their gallery to download their images anytime you want them.

That’s a good question! Whilst I never insist on having a second photographer, having one can most definitely enhance your wedding memories. you’ll have more images captured, more candid moments of guests, and more angles of the two of you, but above all you’ll have full coverage of your partner getting ready too, and that adds & creates an extra element to your wedding day story. you can find out why I think it’s a good idea to have a second photographer by checking out this article.  NB – for weddings over 100 guests, I normally advise booking one if capturing as much of your wedding day is important to you.

For booking and saving your date, I require a booking fee of £300. This is non-refundable, and comes off your wedding photography balance. The remainder of your balance is due one month before your wedding. All payments are only accepted via BACS/Bank transfer.

I normally suggest choosing a location that has some personal meaning to yourselves, places such as your wedding venue (with permission), country parks, Lavender fields (typically an extra cost is involved to use private land, such as lavender fields), or a seaside location. Practically anywhere really.

I’m based in Essex, and typically don’t charge for weddings in Essex, however for weddings outside the county, I charge £35 per 100 mile round trips from my home. For weddings that require an overnight stay, this is calculated on an individual basis.

Being totally honest here, I do take group/family images, however, my style is focused on your wedding day unfolding naturally. I typically advise keeping these to a minimum of 10. Once you factor in your welcome drinks reception, a confetti shot, and your group shots it can limit any available time left for couple moments if you have a shorter interval between ceremony & your wedding breakfast/meal time.

The amount of photos you receive will be factored by a couple of things. Firstly, how much coverage you book me for? Secondly, each wedding is different, some weddings have lots of guests and more wedding activities going on, and some are less busier – I typically aim to deliver a minimum of 450, though that would typically be more with a two photographer package.

I don’t offer videography myself personally, I’m much more invested in photography. I do however work in partnership with Sam Wilkinson films. Sam is an absolutely fantastic wedding videographer, and equally brilliant guy too. you can see some of Sam’s work on my dedicated wedding videography page.

Super questions! On any given wedding I have a back up for just about everything. I carry 3 camera bodies, 6 lenses, and multiple flash lights. Even down to your images, as I have dual sd card slots for redundancy. Every single image I take is backed up to 3 location’s before I’ve even left a wedding.

I’m typically in good health, and touch wood, so far I haven’t missed one single wedding due to being ill. Of course it goes without saying that the situation could arise, so at the very least a full refund will be given, not including any pre-wedding shoots that I’ve already done. With that said I work very closely with some wonderful associate shooters, who in the event of something preventing me from attending, will be ready to fill my shoes for the day. All of this will be done openly with constant communication with yourselves.

“We couldn’t be happier with the photos from our wedding day! “

Tel, captured every moment perfectly and truly made us feel at ease in front of the lens.  As a couple who isn’t always comfortable being the Centre of attention, he created a relaxed and fun atmosphere, allowing us to enjoy every part of our day without worrying about the photos.
