Set in the picturesque Essex countryside, Blake Hall provided the perfect backdrop for Yiran and Jeffrey’s wedding day. The weather was warm and slightly overcast, creating soft, diffused light that made for stunning photographs. As the day progressed, we were treated to a breathtaking golden hour just before sunset—a dream for any wedding photographer.

A Fun Start: Chinese Door Games & The Bride Pick-Up

The day began with the lively and entertaining Chinese door games, where Jeffrey and his groomsmen had to complete a series of fun (and sometimes challenging!) tasks set by Yiran’s bridesmaids. From answering tricky questions about Yiran to performing playful challenges, the atmosphere was full of laughter and energy.

One of the most anticipated moments was the ceremonial bride pick-up. Before Jeffrey could take his bride, he had to find Yiran’s hidden wedding shoes—a symbolic and fun tradition that added a personal and playful touch to the morning celebrations. Once he successfully found them, he was finally able to see his beautiful bride, marking the start of their incredible day together.
